Lindsay Lohan crash: Porsche tests 'find no evidence of brake failure'

Lindsay Lohan's claims that the brakes of the Porsche she was driving the morning of her recent car accident failed have now been called into question.

The Mean Girls star rear-ended a truck in June while driving to the set of her upcoming Lifetime movie Liz & Dick.

Lohan blamed the accident on the truck driver, who she claimed cut her off, as well as the brakes of her rental car, which she says did not work when she attempted to stop the vehicle.

However sources have alleged to TMZ that Lohan's report of the accident is untrue. Porsche is said to have tested the vehicle, with the results reportedly showing no problems with the brakes.

According to the sources, when bosses at Porsche learned of Lohan's claims they formally asked the rental company she used if they could test the car, finding that there were no issues with it.

Representatives from Porsche have not yet publicly commented on the incident, though the company says it is cooperating with authorities.
