Lindsay Lohan asks Alec Baldwin to cameo on 'Saturday Night Live'

Lindsay Lohan has asked Alec Baldwin to join her on her upcoming episode of Saturday Night Live.

The actress makes her return to SNL after a six-year absence on March 3 with musical guest Jack White.

Lohan has expressed excitement to be guest hosting SNL on her Twitter account, even sending the 30 Rock star a request to cameo on the next live show.

Lohan wrote to Baldwin: "I think it would be amazing if you would consider doing a walk on for my snl.. no?"

Baldwin has not answered Lohan's request as of yet.

It was reported earlier this week that Lohan directly asked SNL producer Lorne Michaels to appear on the sketch comedy series in hopes of reviving her career.

Lohan was once a frequent Saturday Night Live g! uest and hosted the show three times between 2004 and 2006.

Saturday Night Live airs at 11.30/10.30c on NBC.
