Lindsay Lohan Hospitalized for Asthma (Report)
Lindsay Lohan was hospitalized in New York City on Sunday night after suffering "the effects of asthma," People magazine reports.
The 26-year-old Liz & Dick star's rep told the publication that she was "treated and released, and is doing fine."
Lohan's publicist, Steve Honig, did not immediately respond to THR's request for comment.
(According to TMZ, which first reported the news, Lohan sources said she had a "bad lung infection" and received antibiotics before being discharged. Meanwhile, over at gossip column Page Six, Lohan -- who caught a concert in Central Park on Saturday night -- was quoted as saying, "I have been really sick with pneumonia but I have been working. I have been shooting Scary Movie with Charlie Sheen.")

Back in June, Lohan suffered a bout of exhaustion and dehydration from her rigorous filming schedule on Lifetime's Elizabeth Taylor biopic. The same month, she was briefly in the hospital with no serious injuries after a car accident en route to the Liz and Dick set.
Lohan ran into some trouble last week when she was arrested for allegedly hitting a man with her car outside a Manhattan nightclub. As previously reported, she intends to file a defamation lawsuit against Jose Rodriguez, a 34-year-old cook who says was "slurring" and "smelled like ! alcohol real bad" when she struck him in the leg. But grainy surveillance tape of Lohan's alleged hit and run fails to answer any question over whether or not the actress actually clipped Rodriguez with her car.
