Barbara Walters to Interview Lindsay Lohan

Lindsay Lohan will sit down for a one-on-one interview with Barbara Walters in the next few weeks, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

Though the interview will promote Lohan's starring turn as Elizabeth Taylor in the Lifetime biopic Liz & Dick, it's likely viewers will be more interested in hearing about ! Lohan's recent personal troubles. Last month, she clipped a man with her SUV in the parking lot of a Manhattan nightclub, and just last week police were called to her mother Dina's home in Long Island to break up a dispute between the two.

According to TMZ, which first reported the news, Walters' questions will focus on the similarities between Taylor and Lohan including growing up as child stars and dealing with issues such as substance abuse.

A specific date for the interview has not been set. However, it's expected to air before the Nov. 25 premiere of Liz & Dick.
