Tattle: Lindsay Lohan, Christian LaBella in confrontation

HOW OFTEN are you going to see "Lindsay Lohan" and "arrest" in the same Tattle lead and Lindsay is not the one being arrested?

Christian LaBella, 25, was initially arrested Sunday on an assault charge after Lindsay claimed that he grabbed her in her room in NYC's W Hotel in an argument over cellphone images.

But he was freed hours later and his arrest voided when the charge could not be substantiated, law-enforcement officials said.

Instead, LaBella and La Lohan filed harassment complaints with police against each other after they were interviewed about their run-in.

Lohan publicist Steve Honig later expressed outrage that police did not charge LaBella.

"We think it's both distressing and outrageous," he said in a telephone interview. "Lindsey was assaulted and there needs to be a consequence for that."

LaBella could not be reached for comment.

He was taken into custody about 6 a.m. (or as Lindsay calls it, early evening) after a 9-1-1 call came from the W Hotel, where Lindsay apparently pulled the fire alarm, according to the two anonymous officials.

A former aide to Illinois congressman John Shimkus, LaBella was arrested on a misdemeanor assault charge but later released, much to the consternation of Lindsay and her publicist.

Lindsay and LaBella met hours earlier at a nightclub - any past acquaintance was unknown - and they went back to her room (ooh la la, LaBella). Sometime after that, she reportedly noticed photos of her on his cellphone and grabbed the device.

The unnamed law-enforcement officials said that Lindsay claimed that LaBella grabbed her and threw her, but he claimed that she had forcefully taken his phone.

Lindsay was injured but not hospitalized, Honig said in a statement.

You may recall that last week Lindsay was accused of clipping a pedestrian with her Porsche outside a NYC nightclub and driving away. She was given a ticket and was scheduled to! appear in court Oct. 23. Honig has said that he expects those allegations to be proven false.

Of course.

*Former child TV star and Philadelphia DJ Danny Bonaduce says that a crazed fan bit him during an event at a Washington casino.

The onetime "Partridge Family" drummer told the News Tribune of Tacoma that the woman asked him if she could kiss him and then sank her teeth into his cheek for about a minute until others pulled her off. He was treated with antibiotics.

Bonaduce, who now works as a radio DJ in Seattle, said that the woman was taken into custody Friday. He doesn't plan to press charges.

*Teresa Yuan, of NYC, who told a judge that she's undergoing psychiatric treatment for bipolar disorder, pleaded guilty Friday to stalking "The Dark Knight Rises" actress Marion Cotillard.

Prosecutors say that she sent 504 emails and 120 webcam videos of herself to a Cotillard fan website over four days in 2011.

In some of the videos shown in court, Yuan appears to be topless, hisses like a cat and discusses playing Russian roulette. Her lawyer agreed that the videos could seem threatening.

BET, but no TKO

The BET Hip-Hop Awards were held Saturday night in Atlanta, and police, who were likely on standby, responded to a backstage scuffle at around 7:30 p.m.

Police spokesman Carlos Campos said that there were no injuries or shots fired.

TMZ.com reported that the fight allegedly broke out between Rick Ross and Young Jeezy and their respective crews. And 50 Cent reportedly got into it with a rapper named Gunplay.

50 Cent shrugged the whole thing off, however, saying that it was just a typical awards show.

The altercation took place around the same time as a tribute performance to hip-hop mogul Chris Lighty, who committed suicide last month.
