Police in Los Angeles are seeking actress and singer Lindsay Lohan for questioning over the theft of some jewelery. It is beleived the watches were stolen from the home of a friend who Lindsay visited recently. The Los Angeles Times reported that police will present a case to prosecutors to determine if there was enough evidence to lay charges. If Lohan is charged, she could risk going back jail. The starlet is still on a five-year informal probation following her involvement in a jewelery theft case last year. A spokesman for Lohan has declined comment. The Times reported that police were still investigating and said it was not clear who exactly was a suspect. LAPD detectives had presented evidence to prosecutors Tuesday after several days of investigation, identifying Lohan as well as Gavin Lawrence Doyle and Andrew Nicholas Payan as suspects in the case. Lindsay Lohan was interviewed by police Monday regarding an apparent burglary at a Hollywood Hills home the previous night, but Lohan insists she had nothing to do with it. According to TMZ sources , Lohan slept over at the home in question Sunday night after a small get together, along with several guests, and when everyone woke up this morning, the owner of the home claimed expensive jewelry had been stolen from the property. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that police were called to the home and interviewed everyone inside, including Lohan. Lohan was very cooperative, but claimed she had nothing to do with any missing jewelry. As of now, Lindsay is not considered a suspect, but the investigation is ongoing.
