Lindsay Lohan has gift for glamour

Lindsay Lohan's stylist says she is "the gift of glamour that keeps on giving".

The actress wore a nude and silver beaded gown by Theia to the amFar gala in New York City earlier this month, which marked the start of New York Fashion Week. She accessorised the fringed creation with a white hooded fur coat by Mendel and wowed with her flawless appearance.

This week it transpired Charlie Sheen had a hand in Lindsay's look, after striking up a friendship with her after they worked on Scary Movie 5 together. Charlie arranged for stylist Phillip Bloch to work with Lindsay and even offered to pay for some of the gown.

Phillip had a great time teaming with the red-head and hopes their working relationship will continue in the future.

"As we continue on our Lilo journey, the thing I will say about Lindsay Lohan is to always expect the unexpected which is to be expected, he told Huffington Post. But Lindsay is the gift of glamour that keeps on giving - out of all the celebs out at the amfAR event and fashion week in NYC this past week, this picture of Lindsay has circulated more than anyone else's. Proof that much like Liz Taylor, she has an undeniable magnetism - that we cant help but be drawn to."

Phillip has already confirmed Charlie did ask him to help Lindsay. Initially he was unsure whether he would be able to get the work done in time and admits he was concerned about the actress' public persona.

The star has developed a reputation for being difficult to work with, but that couldn't have been further from the truth for Phillip.

"When my good friend and favourite client, Charlie Sheen, called and asked me to hook up his girl Lindsay Lohan with a dress for the amfAR event last week, I thought, 'How am I ever going to get this done?" he said.

"But, luckily my team rallied with enthusiasm and wonderment of what it would be like to be around La Lohan. We were not disappointed. She was everything you would think she would be - effervescent, charming, funny,! gracious and extremely polite. Nothing was done without a 'please' and a 'thank you'. And in all my years as a stylist dressing celebs, from Halle Berry to Beyonc, I have never seen a star zoom in so promptly on exactly what she wanted to wear, and there were many options."

Charlie previously gave Lindsay $100,000 to help her pay a tax bill and has spoken about how impressed he was with her on the set of Scary Movie 5.
