Lohan's father enters plea deal in US
TAMPA, Florida (AP) Actress Lindsay Lohan's estranged father has pleaded no contest in Florida to charges stemming from domestic violence charges.
The agreement reached Wednesday between Michael Lohan and prosecutors says the 51-year-old will spend four months of his one-year probation at a residential program. After that, he must complete a domestic violence batterer's intervention program.
The agreement bans him from having any contact with Kate Major, his sometime-girlfriend.
The elder Lohan was first arrested in Tampa on Oct. 25. A judge warned him not to make any contact with Major. But two days later, he was accused of violating the terms of his release by making a harassing phone call to her just hours after being released from jail.
