Amanda Bynes upset at Lindsay Lohan comparisons

Actress Amanda Bynes is reportedly very upset that people have started comparing her to Lindsay Lohan following her recent arrest for driving under the influence (DUI).

The Easy A actress, who was hauled in for the offence, has also been snapped out partying a lot lately. And its been reported that she has even ignored family members requests to enter rehab because she has been spiralling out of control for the last six months.

But it isntthe rehab requests that have been bothering her its the fact that her lifestyle has caused the US media to liken her to Mean Girls actress Lindsay Lohan who apparently, she really does not want to be compared to.

Friends of the star told RadarOnline, Amanda thinks its extremely unfair that people are calling her the new Lindsay Lohan.

Comparisons between the two are just ridiculous as Amanda has never been arrested for drug possession or for stealing anything.

Yes, she got arrested for a DUI, but that doesnt mean that she is headed down the same road as Lindsay. Amanda doesnt harbour any negative feelings towards Lindsay, she doesnt even know her, she just thinks its sexist that the two are being compared.

Men in Hollywood that get arrested for DUIs dont face the same scrutiny that women do and that is what really irks Amanda. She isnt taking the DUI arrest lightly.

Well, theres one good thing she isnt taking it lightly. But it sounds like she does need to lighten up about the whole Li-Lo thing. After all, its not like anyone actually thinks sheis Lindsay. Er, do they?
