Lindsay Lohan accused of nightclub assault, denies allegations
Poor LiLo. After just two weeks off formal probation, the actress has been accused of assaulting a woman in a nightclub last Thursdayan allegation she adamantly denies.
According to sources at TMZ, on Saturday a woman filed an incident report with the West Hollywood Sherriffs Department alleging battery.
The woman claims that the Freaky Friday star began shoving her while at The Standard Hotel because she did not like the woman talking with one of her male friends.
Lohans rep Steve Honig told TMZ that the Mean Girls actress is innocent in these accusations. Lindsay was absolutely not involved in any sort of altercation whatsoever, he said. This is clearly another case of someone looking for money and 15 minutes of fame."
The police will investigate the claims to ascertain their validity.
"There is just one little problem with this scenario, a source close to Lohan told RadarOnline. Lindsay absolutely wasn't even at The Standard on Thursday night. This entire debacle was completely fabricated and the allegations are totally bogus. Lindsay's attorneys are LIVID, and when it's proven that this girl made up these allegations, her a** is grass.
Honig also spoke with RadarOnline, reiterating that, Whomever is responsible for this lie will be held accountable for their misguided actions.
Though Lohan remains on informal probation through 2014 for the misdemeanor necklace theft, it appears that the actress is taking the judges advice to cut the partying and focus on work.
The newly red-headed star is scheduled to begin filming the Lifetime television movie on Elizabeth Taylor in May and will make a cameo on the hit show Glee.
