Lindsay Lohan 'asking police to investigate fight accuser'

Lindsay Lohan is reportedly requesting that police investigate the woman who recently accused her of an altercation.

The Mean Girls actress was alleged to have been involved in a nightclub fight with the accuser on Saturday (April 7) in Los Angeles.

However, Lohan released a statement that she was actually at home at the time of the supposed incident watching Homeland.

The actress and her attorney Shawn Holley are looking to investigate the woman in question for filing a false police report, as there are not any CCTV footage or photos of the star in or outside the club on the day of the incident.

"If it's true that someone made false accusations against Ms Lohan and reported those false claims to police, we will take appropriate action - which includes seeking the prosecution of that individual," Holley told TMZ.

Filing a false police report can land an offender up to six months in jail in the state of California.

Lindsay Lohan is set to play a version of herself in an upcoming episod! e of Fox comedy Glee.
