Cory Monteith Excited For Lindsay Lohan To Guest Star On Glee

Glee star Cory Monteith has revealed his excitement at Lindsay Lohans guest starring role on the show as a celebrity judge at the Nationals competition.

The troubled star will appear on the hit musical comedy in one of Glee's final episodes of the season, and join the growing legion of famous faces who have also had cameos on the show, including Gwyneth Paltrow who won an Emmy for her appearance.

Cory, who plays Finn Hudson on the show, admitted to Access Hollywood that for the cast Lindsays cameo will be one the highlights of this season, explaining: We're super excited. She's been through it all and I'm excited she's coming to the show.

Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan has had few acting roles in the past few years, with much more attention paid to her legal problems rather than her acting prowess. However following her stint as host on Saturday Night Live the 'Mean Girls' actress seems to be set for a career comeback.

Glee star Harry Shum Jr also weighed in on show creator Ryan Murphys decision to cast Lindsay, explaining that the actress has already proved her comedic credentials on previous films and TV cameos, telling Access Hollywood: "I think she's funny."
