A man was arrested after he refused to leave Lindsay Lohan's Venice Beach home on Sunday (January 1).

The individual, who has been described as an older man, repeatedly knocked on Lohan's door and demanded to speak with her, according to TMZ.

Someone eventually alerted law enforcement when the man refused to leave and police soon arrived on the scene to arrest him.

The alleged intruder was later transferred to police headquarters and booked on trespassing charges.

Lohan has not made any reference to the incident on her official Twitter account.

Last week, the actress sent a legal warning to promoters in Dubai who apparently falsely claimed that she planned to attend a New Year's Eve party in the region.
