Lindsay Lohan hopes 'Glee' appearance will rebuild her image

Actress Lindsay Lohan hopes that her recent appearance on the Fox show, Glee, will be the start of better things for her.

Lohan, 25, made a cameo appearance as herself on the show, Tuesday night. She was a judge at McKinley High Schools competition along with Rex Lee and Perez Hilton.

"I'm here because I care about young artists chasing their dreams. And who doesn't like someone making a comeback?!" Lohan said.

She has made headlines in recent months for her legal and substance abuse issues. Lohan had previously pledged to turn her life around and revive her acting career. She once stated that she was robbed of critical acclaim for her performance in Freaky Friday (2003).

However, the actress was reportedly difficult and tardy during her three days of filming the episode in April.

In Tuesday's episode, Lohan expressed outrage upon discovering that the singing competition would not be televised.

"I am in full image rebranding mode. I come here and there's not even a chair that can spin me around....I can't point at a kid on stage and yell 'I want to work with you!' I am so firing my manager, she said.

Glees third season finale is set to air next Tuesday.
