Lindsay Lohan is like Elizabeth Taylor, says Lifetime boss
Lifetime announced in April that Lohan will star as Taylor in television film Liz & Dick, which depicts the legendary actress's love affair with Richard Burton.

Dubuc described Lohan as perfect casting in a recent interview with Access Hollywood.
"I think the parallels between Liz Taylor's story and Lindsay's story are undeniable," Dubuc commented.
She further explained: "The creation of the paparazzi really came from the beginnings of the relationship with Liz Taylor and Richard Burton and clearly Lindsay has had to endure her own challenges when it comes to that and the attentions that she garners.
"I think that this role will be a really interesting journey for her and hopefully one that the audience will embrace wholeheartedly."
Dubuc also responded to rumours that Lifetime took out extra insurance on Lohan due to her recent personal troubles.
"There are logistics around her situation that we had to manage, but we did it in the spirit of trust and a partnership and we did it hand-in-hand," she said.
"We stood by her every step of the way, and we will all the way to air."
Liz & Dick producer Larry Thompson previously admitted that Lifetime took a risk in hiring Lohan for the film.
"Lindsay Lohan may be the most insured actress that ever walked on a soundstage for this movie. We've tried to anticipate a lot of things - we hope none of them happen," Thompson noted.
Liz & Dick goes into production on Friday (May 11).
