Actress Lindsay Lohan cancels Friday's "20/20" interview
The actress, set to be interviewed by Barbara Walters, was scheduled to promote her new Lifetime movie "Liz & Dick," in which she stars as Elizabeth Taylor, reported deadline.com Thursday.
But her public relations firm, Rogers & Cowan, confirmed to the website that the actress will not appear, According to the web story, a source reported that Lohan's new PR firm was "dissatisfied with the direction ABC wanted to take the interview."
The actress, who has had legal and personal problems for years, is on informal probation for a 2011 shoplifting case until May 2014.
She was involved in another traffic accident this summer in which, TMZ.com reported, the 26-year-old star of "Mean Girls" told officers she was not driving her Porsche when it rear-ended a dump truck in Santa Monica, Calif. Her statement disputes a statement made by the truck driver, according to ABC News.
Lohan's TV movie is set to premiere Nov. 25 on cable 36.
