Lindsay Lohan dad Michael Lohan arrested again for harassing ex
Michael was temporarily jailed on Tuesday following an alleged domestic dispute with Major at her Tampa residence. The arrest came just weeks after Michael was ordered not to contact Major by a Florida judge.
Just hours after Michael was released from a Florida jail on Wednesday, Major alerted the police again that he was harassing her with a series of phone calls, according to TMZ.
When he called again as Major was speaking to police, law enforcement officers were sent to Michael's hotel room.
Michael allegedly tried to escape by jumping over his third floor balcony, but was apprehended after he fell to the ground and hurt his foot.
Police had Michael's foot injury checked out at a local hospital and then booked him on violating a condition of his pre-trial release. He remains in custody on Thursday.
Major issued a statement to the website, saying: "[Michael] has no regard for the justice system. He can beat up women but Mr tou! gh guy w ho slurred his words calling me five times after getting out of jail wasn't too tough by jumping off a third floor balcony into a tree to try to flee from going back to the same jail he just got released from less than 12 hours ago."
Michael was previously arrested in March following an apparent physical confrontation with Major, but the case was dropped when Major stopped co-operating with prosecutors.
