Lindsay Lohan humbled by duties at morgue
Troubled singer and actress Lindsay Lohan finally came to work on time and found herself humbled by her duties.
According to CNN, Lohan showed up on time at the Los Angeles morgue on Friday. She was supposed to start her community service hours on Thursday but came 40 minutes late for the orientation. She was told to come back the next day at an earlier time.
Lohan's publicist Steve Honig said her lateness was due to "a combination of not knowing what entrance to go through and confusion caused by the media waiting for her arrival."
Lohan got the message afterwards. She came in earlier than expected on Friday.
"We can confirm she came in well before her appointed time, between 6 and 6:30 this morning," Los Angeles County Coroner Assistant Chief Ed Winter said.
TMZ reports that Lohan put her ego aside on her first day of work. She reportedly washed soiled linens and scrubbed toilets.
While spending time getting to know the other volunteers, Lohan got down on her hands and knees to clean the floors. It seems as if she finally got something right.
