Lindsay Lohan Pictorial Sells Out; The Leaked Playboy Photos You All Want to See
It seems the hacker who leaked Lindsay Lohan's Playboy pictorial ahead of its release date didn't prevent the magazine from making huge sales. (Scroll to the end to find the link.)
Reports are that Lohan's Playboy issue has been selling out in big cities like New York and Los Angeles, leaving retailers no choice but to order additional copies to keep up with the increasing demand.
Lohan was reportedly paid $1 million to pose for Playboy's Marilyn Monroe-inspired shoot. Readers who picked up a copy of the magazine can see the actress looking almost like the real Marilyn Monroe with gorgeous blond hair, bright red lips and with nothing on but a pair of black pumps.
And that is enough for readers and Playboy founder and publisher Hugh Hefner who said he had "mixed emotions" about having Lohan on the cover.

When the pictures from the January-February issue leaked online, Lohan remained a highly searched term for weeks. Critics said the magazine wouldn't do well when it hit the newsstand. The leak forced Hefner to release the magazine early and after hearing that additional magazines were being ordered because of the high demand, Hefner took to Twitter to express his excitement.
"The Lindsay Lohan January-February Double Issue is breaking sales records," Hefner tweeted.
"The Lindsay Lohan Double Issue also includes 2 Centerfolds, the Year In Sex & the Playmate Review. Over 200 pages of entertainment," he followed up! with an other tweet, throwing a little promotion in the mix.
Hefner told E! News that he had to push Lohan, 25 to go fully naked for the shoot because she was bit hesitant about doing a fully nude shoot. He felt Lohan's mother, Dina, didn't want the actress to expose too much for the men's magazine.
"I think it was essentially mama and the folks around her that kept pushing for less nudity,"Hefner told E! News. "And I said, 'We're doing a nude pictorial here. We're going to do it in a very classy way and we're going to do it in a way in which it will not be forgotten.'"
Hefner then came up with idea for a Monroe-inspired shoot, as the first shoot Lohan had done didn't catch his creative eye.
"The pictorial and the concept for the pictorial came from me," Hefner told E! "She had done semi-nudes before. I wanted to do something that would be memorable. So what is more natural, since she is a huge fan of Marilyn Monroe, than do something that is a tribute to the red velvet, Tom Kelly photo shoot of Marilyn Monroe that was our Rey first Playmate?"
Hefner was pleased with the finished result of the Monroe shoot.
"I think it was accomplished beyond anything I could have possibly imagined," he told E! News. "People will not forget this pictorial."
And readers who snagged a copy of the magazine seem to be just as pleased.
"Lindsay I knew you were beautiful but didn't realize how much until your playboy issue," one fan tweeted to Hefner, Lohan and Playboy's Twitter acounts. "Sexy & tasteful!"
Another fan alerted Hefner that the magazine had just a rrived in Toronto on Dec. 19 and made sure he got himself a copy.
