Nicole Scherzinger, Lindsay Lohan once held at gunpoint

Both Nicole Scherzinger and Lindsay Lohan have had the harrowing experience of being held at gunpoint, sources reveal today.

Scherzinger's car was pulled over by gun-welding bandits while driving in Mexico in October, "X Factor" choreographer Brian Friedman tells Star magazine. Friedman and Scherzinger were apparently on their way to shoot the video for her song "Try with Me" in the mountains of the Xilitla rainforest when their SUV was off-roaded by a local gang.

"We were held at gunpoint," says Friedman. "People next to our cars there were M16s and Berettas!"

Lindsay Lohan's bodyguard claims that she had a gun pulled on her during a fight.

Friedman says that he and Scherzinger escaped the situation unharmed, but that Scherzinger was emotionally distressed by the incident. Friedman, on the other hand, seems to think it was kind of fun.

"It was the craziest adventure ever!" he said.

Meanwhile, Lohan's former bodyguard, Lee Weaver, has written a tell-all book that alleges Lohan once got in a fight during which a gun was pulled on the troubled star. In his book, "Memoirs of a Celebrity Bodyguard," Weaver recounts working with stars like Eddie Murphy and Sylvester Stallone, but says that Lohan was the m! ost unpr edictable of his celebrity clients.

JUDGE SAYS LINDSAY LOHAN DOING WELL ON PROBATION

"When she was sober, she was charming," Weaver alleges. "But when she'd done drugs or had been drinking, she was a demon!"

Weaver shares with the National Enquirer that one night in 2007, Lohan called him at 4 a.m., asking him to drive her to "pick up a script." When they arrived at an unidentified house, Lohan got out of the car and instigated a fight with a man waiting outside.

Weaver alleges that Lohan yelled, "You ripped me off you bastard," and then slapped the man.

"Before I could stop him, he held a gun to Lindsay's face," writes Weaver.

Weaver says that he was able to get them out of the nasty situation, punching the gunman when he was distracted by a noise. Weaver says he and Lohan ran back to the car and sped off while the man was on the ground.

"Celebrities come to believe they are immortal that they can get away with anything," writes Weaver. "When I look back on my life in this strange town, Im just surprised that Im still alive."
