Lindsay Lohan 'uses Charlie Sheen money to pay tax bill'

Lindsay Lohan apparently used the $100,000 given to her by Charlie Sheen to help relieve her tax debt.

Sheen confirmed earlier in the month that he had given his Scary Movie 5 co-star a sum of money to help her pay off outstanding debt, but had never received a thank you from the star.

The Mean Girls star was reported to have reached out to Sheen days later and used the money to pay off $93,701 in tax debt.

Lohan's payment is said to have covered her 2009 tax bill, with the star also apparently using the additional $6,000 to begin paying the $140,203 she allegedly owes for 2010, reports TMZ.

A source close to Lohan has indicated that she is currently attempting to raise the money needed to pay off 2011 taxes.

Lohan's spokesperson has not commented on the tax debt issue.

Her film Scary Movie 5 - which also features Ashley Tisdale and Heather Locklear - opens on April 12, 2013 in the US and the UK.
