Lindsay Lohan claims taxes problem is not her fault after IRS seizes accounts

Lindsay Lohan has more problems than just a possible court battle with Gloria Allred. The IRS has seized her bank accounts because of unpaid taxes, although a report claims that she believes that it isnt her fault.

On Monday, TMZ reported that the IRS had seized the Liz & Dick stars accounts because of unpaid taxes from 2009 and 2010. The government claims that Lohan owes $233,904 in unpaid taxes.

Lohans Scary Movie 5 co-star Charlie Sheen had given her a $100,000 check to help pay for the taxes, but that was less than half of what she owes. TMZ reports that she also owes taxes from 2011.

The New York Posts source claims that Lohan is freaking out, although she is convinced that its not her fault. It has to be someone elses.

Lindsay is freaking out, the source said. And she's doing what she always does, which is to say its not her fault and point the finger at someone else in her team. She says she didnt know anything about it . . . shes broke and its not her fault.

Another source says that Lohan has hired people to deal with it and that it will be resolved by the end of the year.

Her father, Michael Lohan, told The New York Daily News that he is very concerned about her money problems. Where is all her money going? he said.

"I care about one thing: Lindsay's life," Michael continued. "I know she's drinking again, and that's bad enough. What happens if she goes to jail? They don't detox you in jail. I want her in rehab. I wanted her in rehab six months ago."

Lohan still has to deal with her legal mess over her alleged nightclub fight with Florida psychic Tiffany Eve Mitchell. As we reported Monday, Mitchell has hired Gloria Allred to represent her in court, while Lohan has hired a private investigator to dig up dirt on Mitchell.

She also faces new criminal charges stemming from her car crash in California in June.
