Lindsay Lohan 'Planning Sober New Years Eve'
WENN.com2012 may not have been Lindsay Lohan's best year but the actress is reportedly determined to end things on a good note- by staying sober on New Years Eve.
The troubled star is apparently telling friends she will have a quiet New Year's Eve in London without touching alcohol. The 26-year-old is said to be determined to stay in the good books of her probation judge.
The Mean Girls star is facing up to 245 days in jail for violating her probation stemming from an earlier necklace theft case and according to TMZ she is desperate to make a good impression on the judge who will decide her fate, starting with staying away from drink tomorrow night.

The website reports Lindsay is planning to have a low-key dinner in London with a handful of friends before joining family at her hotel to watch the celebrations on TV.
It will mark a big change as in previous years the star has celebrated December 31 with huge parties in St Barts and Italy.
As well as her ongoing violation case, the actress is also facing assault charges after allegedly punching a woman in a New York City nightclub in November. Lindsay was out partying with The Wanted when the alleged fight occured.
