Lindsay Lohan Wants Her Bedroom to Look Like Plaza Athne
In a Jan. 1 episode of Bravo's Million Dollar Decorators, the Liz & Dick star invited one of the show's decorators, Kathryn Ireland, to her new Hollywood Hills home for a consultation.
"Darling, it's Gone with the Wind," Ireland says of the house in a sneak peek at the episode. "But smaller, which I like."
Lohan, who had recently moved in when the show was filmed, takes Ireland upstairs to her bedroom. "Clearly, I need more space," she says, motioning to the designer handbags that line the room. "I got bored so I started decorating with Chanel."
So what's Ireland's vision for the space?
"I want this to look like a very pretty, feminine room," she says.
"Very princess-y, like Plaza Athne," Lohan adds, referring to the luxury, five-star hotel.
One piece of furniture that must go is Lohan's bed. "This mirrored bed is so wrong for Lindsay's house," Ireland says. "It has got nothing to do with this charming, quaint, almost English, French cottage."
They also both agree on hardwood floors for the room. "I hate carpet in bedrooms," Lohan says later.
Downstairs in the living room, there's another important decision to make. "Would you rather have an actua! l coffee table or something upholstered?" Ireland asks.
"Coffee table," Lohan replies without hesitation.
Their budget, Ireland reveals, is $250,000.
The episode airs Tuesday (10 p.m. ET) on Bravo.
