Lindsay Lohan steps out in chic black and white optical illusion dress as she parties in London yet again

She has spent the first few days in London living it up in various city hotspots.

And last night was no different for the perennially energetic Lindsay Lohan was again out enjoying herself at the swanky Rose Club in Marylebone.

The 26-year-old actress was perhaps feeling some New Year excesses - she stepped out wearing a black and white optical illusion dress which flattered her curvy figure.

The star looked happy and relaxed as she left the hotspot, smiling broadly as she made her way to the waiting car.

Lindsay has been in London after reportedly being paid $100,000 by a South-east Asian prince to attend his annual New Year's Eve party.

Since then, she has enjoyed the party scene in London, and was seen leaving a nightclubin the early hours of Saturday morning sporting an awful bruise.

The 26-year-old actress accidentally flashed the huge purple and yellow bruise as she left Base nightclub at 5am.

The star completed her look with a pair of fierce black leather platform boots by Christian Louboutin and a snakeskin-print Chanel handbag.

And it wasn't just any bruise; the whole of her arm - from wrist to elbow and above - seemed to be covered in the violent yellow and purple.

It certainly suggests the star took quite a tumble at some point.

The Liz & Dick star started off her night out with a bite to eat at China Tang restaurant, before heading to the bar at the plush Mandarin Oriental Hotel until 2am.

Although the troubled actress was more than happy to be snapped earlier on in the night, she came over a little camera shy as she left Base nightclub, covering her head with a coat as she made her way to the back of a friend's car, although that act uncovered her rough looking bruise.

But their night certainly didn't end there, with the group said to have finished off their evening at late club Base, where they partied up a storm until 5am.

Lindsay was initially believed to be in the UK to take part in the current series of Celebrity Big Brother, which kicked off on Channel 5 on Thursday night.

But it would seem the promise of a pay cheque from elsewhere was the real reason for her visit, after allegedly being paid $100,000 by Prince Azim of Brunei to attend his annual New Year's Eve party.
