Lindsay Lohan given Canadian work permit for Liz Taylor film
Actress Lindsay Lohan has received a permit to work in Canada on a film about the life of Elizabeth Taylor, TMZ reports.
She is slated to star in Liz and Dick, a biopic to be filmed in Toronto. The website reports there were concerns about her probation, but after that was resolved by Judge earlier in the week, officials granted her the permit.
On Thursday, Lohan appeared in court in Los Angeles to give an update on her probation conditions stemming from a drunk driving incident in 2007.
Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner said the actress had met the probation conditions, and would no longer need to report to a probation officer or make court appearances.
She still faces informal probation for a 2010 incident in which she took a $2,500 US necklace.
