Lindsay Lohan in hit and run?

Lindsay Lohan has reportedly been involved in a hit-and-run accident.

The troubled actress is believed to have been driving away from Hollywood's Sayers Club in the early hours of this morning (14.03.12) when she accidentally struck the manager of the nearby Hookah Lounge nightclub, before fleeing the scene.

While it was initially thought police had determined no-one was hurt in the incident, sources told TMZ.com the injured man was taken to hospital and is now going to press charges and hire a lawyer.

However, onlookers at the scene have alleged it wasn't until the 26-year-old nightclub manager was told the person who 'grazed his knee' with her vehicle was Lindsay that he began complaining about his injury.

One eyewitness told TMZ: 'He got up and started smoking his hookah.'

Despite the claims, law enforcement authorities have reportedly confirmed there is 'no evidence' of a crime taking place.

A police spokesperson told RadarOnline.com: 'There was no evidence of a crime or a hit and run.'

Lindsay - whose career has been plagued by a series of legal problems and spells in rehab - recently admitted she 'regrets' some of the decisions she has made in her life.

She said: 'I regret the choices that I've made, but I'm grateful for where I am today because of them. I don't need to see any more negative stuff, I don't need to put myself in those places anymore.'
