Lindsay Lohan not on house arrest

Lindsay Lohan has been on a healthy streak and is making a great recovery from her troubled past, but it seems she thinks there are still more efforts she needs to make.

TMZ reported the Mean Girls actress has put herself on lockdown for the next few weeks until her probation is up.

The website added that she has essentially put herself on voluntarily house arrest to try to make sure she wont be getting into any trouble.

However, according to Us Weekly, those allegations are a bit of an over exaggeration from the truth.

A source told the magazine that Lohan is just trying to lay low.

"They made it seem like she's locked in her bedroom and is not allowed to come out for the next 3 weeks. Definitely not true . . .She has said she's wanted to lay low and is looking forward for all of this to be over, the source said.

The source added that the 25-year-old is very focused on completing her community service."

This news comes a week after the actress made headlines for possibly hitting a pedestrian with her Porsche, which she adamantly denied, and weeks after her Saturday Night Live hosting gig earlier this month.
