Lindsay Lohan scoffs at hit-and-run allegations, says paparazzi freaked her out

Lindsay Lohan calls a claim that she grazed a mans knee with her Porsche while trying to extricate herself from a cluster of paparazzi a complete lie.
Last night, I attempted to wish a friend happy birthday, which I didnt even get to do because I was freaked out by all of the paparazzi, she tweeted after TMZ.com reported that the man, after initially claiming he wasnt injured, sought medical attention. These false accusations are absurd.
The Los Angeles police department for once appears to be on her side. Officers called to the scene found no evidence of vehicles being hit, no evidence of people being injured, so there was no report taken since there was no evidence of any crime, a spokesman tells Reuters.
Lohans latest brush comes just as her long, strange trip through the California criminal justice system nears its end. Her legal woes began with a 2007 drunken driving and cocaine possession case, but if she keeps her nose clean literally and figuratively shell finally be free of probation at the end of the month. Lohan recently told Matt Lauer that she's clean and sober and trying to get her career back on track. After hosting "Saturday Night Live" earlier this month, she's set to star as Elizabeth Taylor in a Lifetime biopic.
