The Los Angeles Police Department is unlikely to take action against Lindsay Lohan amid allegations that she hit a man with her car outside a Hollywood club.
The incident occurred shortly before 1 a.m. at a parking lot in the 6500 block of Hollywood Boulevard, said Officer Norma Eisenman.
Lohan was surrounded by paparazzi and was trying to negotiate a U-turn in a parking lot when her car allegedly brushed the leg of the man, reportedly a manager at a nearby club.
Police sources, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the case is ongoing, said officers documented the incident but that there was no evidence to warrant a full criminal investigation.
Lohan took to Twitter on Wednesday to ! deny any wrongdoing.
"Scrape? This is all a complete lie. I've been at community service. Last night, I attempted to wish a friend happy birthday, which I didn't even get to do because I was freaked out by all of the paparazzi. These false accusations are absurd," Lohan wrote onTwitter.
The man called police, who took down the information but did not make an official report because he was not injured.
Officers did not contact Lohan and the incident is not being considered a hit-and-run, Eisenman said.
