Lindsay Lohan officially off formal probation

Lindsay Lohan had her last scheduled court hearing Thursday. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner told the 25-year-old actress that her formal probation was over immediately, after she completed all of the court-ordered requirements.

USA Today notes that it is the first time in four years that the Mean Girls star, who is trying to get her acting career back on track, will not be on probation.

Sautner went down the list of requirements, which included community service at the Los Angeles County morgue, therapy sessions and paying fines, and liked what she saw. "She did it...She has done everything that this court has asked of her, the judge said. "Probation terminates today. Now, she added.

Accoridng to TMZ, Lohans probation sentence from her 2007 DUI case is officially over. Lohan will still be under informal probation because of her necklace theft case. As part of informal probation, Lohan will have to follow the law for the next two-and-a-half years. "I know it's kinda hard when people are following you all of the time, but that's the life you chose, Sautner told her. She also gave advice, saying, Stop nightclubbing and focus on your work."

Lohans lawyer, Shawn Holley, and Lohan thanked the judge.

On Wednesday, Lohan spoke to TMZ, determined that she will never have to stand before a judge after Thursday. As a sign that she does want to stop partying, Lohan will just celebrate by having dinner with her sister.

This is the second piece of good ne! ws for L ohan this week. On Tuesday, it was reported that she will have a guest spot on Glees season finale.

TV Guide magazine reported that Lifetime is close to officially announcing that she will play Elizabeth Taylor in a made-for-TV movie called Liz & Dick. "Lindsay is scheduled to start filming the movie the first week of May in Vancouver, publicist Steve Honig told the magazine.

Lohan started her attempt to get her career back on track by hosting Saturday Night Live earlier this month.
